Iran’s Foreign Minister stated that “there is currently no possibility of resuming negotiations with the United States,” but noted that talks could become possible whenever the Americans are ready for negotiations that are equal and mutually beneficial.
Tehran – hambastegimellat – Seyed Abbas Araghchi, responding to a question about the possibility of resuming negotiations with the US, said: “The reality is that there is no possibility at present because we do not see any positive or constructive approach from the US side.”
He noted in an interview with the government information website: “Whenever they are ready for a negotiation based on equal footing for an agreement beneficial to both sides, negotiations could be possible, and Iran could consider it. But the approach we see from the Americans does not indicate such a possibility.”
